Vision and Mission
Love God, Love People, Serve the World
Love God
Our love for God is the foundation of all we do, inspiring us to seek Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We strive to know Him more deeply through worship, prayer, and studying His Word.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
Mark 12:30 (NIV)
We love because He first loved us.
1 John 4:19 (NIV)
Love People
We are called to reflect God's love by caring for and building relationships with others, extending grace, kindness, and compassion in all our interactions.
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
John 13:34 (NIV)
Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
1 John 3:18 (NIV)
Serve the World
We are called to reflect God's love by caring for and building relationships with others, extending grace, kindness, and compassion in all our interactions.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
What is a “Nazarene”
-
God loves everyone:
We believe there's one God who created the world and loves every person deeply.
-
Jesus is the center:
We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son, who came to earth, lived as a person, died on the cross to forgive our mistakes (sins), and rose from the dead to offer us new life and hope.
-
Forgiveness and a fresh start:
We believe anyone who trusts Jesus and asks Him for forgiveness will receive it. This means a new life with a clean slate, no matter what mistakes have been made.
-
Growing in love (holiness):
We believe God helps us become better people. The goal is to love God and others more fully every day, becoming more like Jesus in how we live and care for each other.
-
The Bible matters:
We trust the Bible as God's message, a reliable guide for life, faith, and how to treat others.
-
Everyone is welcome:
We believe the church should be a place where anyone can come, find friends, and learn about God in a caring and welcoming community.
